Wood Carving

This is my wood carving!

It took a LONG TIME to find the right kind of wood to match the grain.

This is actualy my 2nd version.

I chose the smoother tree wood because it had more depth and had more varying shades.

Not great, but Better than the last one!



As you can tell... I LOVE HALO!!

This was the signature for halo reach.

"From the begining, you knew the end"

because it was a prequel....

Anyway, I used Impact as my primary font, as well as a picture from an advertisement from halo 3.

I had to work around the text on top, but it wasn't too much hastle (<--correct spelling?).



Achieve Mint

I chose to use a picture of me from New York.

I used the crumpled paper from 1 project, the water from another, and the guitar from the last.

The guitars I decided to just burn onto the background, which I thought turned out nicely.

p.s. I USED A LOT OF COLOR BURN!

Pattern poster

I had trouble with the swoosh, so I used some of the patterns from the last project to make it look better.

I used the font Brush script std.

the closest I could find.

Everyone knows Isaiah Mustafa from the multiple Old Spice commercials.

Well now he's back!!

Ready to Decimate Dragons with His Powers From the Multiple Old Spice Ads!!

That is why there have been a lack of his commercials recently. But he did have one yesterday.....

Anyway, Im getting off track.

Here is the movie poster (with many adjustments to the words...).

To make the words on top the easiest to see and still look good I used a blending overlay.

I found the background when I googled ocean and I found a good angled shot of the ocean.

The words at the bottom were just copy paste from the demonstration.

As well as the title is just a black and a white copy slightly nudged out of the way to get this good effect.

Vintage Polaroid

I thought it was pretty good, except for the static border that was not exactly the same effect.

But for now, I want to finish watching TRON.

Retro Poster

This tutorial was actually pretty fun,

I enjoyed it. The text was something I had to work with for a while to make it right.
