Tape & Curl

Here is the tape tutorial, pretty straight forwards, just made it a little more transparent.

Simple step by step just like tape, so, not much that I can say.

Project - Achievement - Class of 2014

Here are my ideas for the Class of  '14 picture project. I used a Bevel/Emboss on the background tiger.
I used one for a white background, and one on a black.

Wood Carving

This is my wood carving!

It took a LONG TIME to find the right kind of wood to match the grain.

This is actualy my 2nd version.

I chose the smoother tree wood because it had more depth and had more varying shades.

Not great, but Better than the last one!



As you can tell... I LOVE HALO!!

This was the signature for halo reach.

"From the begining, you knew the end"

because it was a prequel....

Anyway, I used Impact as my primary font, as well as a picture from an advertisement from halo 3.

I had to work around the text on top, but it wasn't too much hastle (<--correct spelling?).



Achieve Mint

I chose to use a picture of me from New York.

I used the crumpled paper from 1 project, the water from another, and the guitar from the last.

The guitars I decided to just burn onto the background, which I thought turned out nicely.

p.s. I USED A LOT OF COLOR BURN!

Pattern poster

I had trouble with the swoosh, so I used some of the patterns from the last project to make it look better.

I used the font Brush script std.

the closest I could find.

Everyone knows Isaiah Mustafa from the multiple Old Spice commercials.

Well now he's back!!

That is why there have been a lack of his commercials recently. But he did have one yesterday.....

Anyway, Im getting off track.

Here is the movie poster (with many adjustments to the words...).

To make the words on top the easiest to see and still look good I used a blending overlay.

I found the background when I googled ocean and I found a good angled shot of the ocean.

The words at the bottom were just copy paste from the demonstration.

As well as the title is just a black and a white copy slightly nudged out of the way to get this good effect.

I thought it was pretty good, except for the static border that was not exactly the same effect.

But for now, I want to finish watching TRON.

Retro Poster

This tutorial was actually pretty fun,

I enjoyed it. The text was something I had to work with for a while to make it right.

Just got the picture that I had been looking for that was on my flash drive.

That I lost.....

But here it is, better late than never.

I used a soldier from halo for my background shadow.

Because I am a soldier.

Makeover myself!

Pretty easy.

The hardest part was the shirt color.

Note: MAKE THE MAGNETIC LASSO TOOL MORE PRECISE!!

Makeovers!!

Massive improvement, but I had to use a little bit of the hair coloring tutorial as well, they were some bad teeth.

I am not one for makeup.... soooo..... I don't really know if this looks right or not.

Went a little quick on it, but it looks ok.

This guy was bad... REALLY BAD, but I got it to a manageable amount.

I used the picture from the tutorial.

EASY.

The interface was sort of clunky. I couldn't get the image to flip.

If you ever watched Austin Powers: Goldmember, you would recognize the mole.

I found it easier to use the regular healing brush for a better result.

That Hair Thing.

Not terriffic, but pretty good, the plus and minus didn't help much, so I did the best with what I could.

It might have something to do with the fact that I saved it, then reopened it the next day and tried to pick up where I left off. Anyway, I am done now, so...

Shillouettes

Bad choice in picture!! Should have used another one!! But I guess it is too late now. Anyway, I would reccomend about a 200 size brush for the lighting at the end. REALLY helps it blend better.

Not fond of this tutorial AT ALL!! Super Confusing!!

But I am done. That is all that I am going to say about that.

Motorcycle

sence we had different pictures, I compared the speedometer's gradient from both a linear, and a radial. Needless to say, radial was better. But from the material we had, this is what I was able to pull out of it.
